<p>I finally broke down and bought a new flat file. It&#39;s not one of the &quot;museum quality&quot; ones that some sell, but I was assured by the vendor
that the paint was a powder coat and there would be no volatiles that my poster collection would be exposed to. The inside dimensions of the drawers are
43&quot; by 32&quot; by 2&quot; deep.</p>

about these, but need some clarification to their nature. Is it mould? Exposure to sunlight?

They&#39;re very cool, but have suffered moisture, resulting in mouldy folds with staining, but even worse, resulting in severe paper loss in the folds.
